Fall Kick-off

Sunday, September 8—FALL KICK-OFF

This year’s theme is REJOICE IN THE LORD AND CELEBRATE HIS GOODNESS! We have so much to thank God for! So to launch the new church year, we have planned a memorable kick-off  celebration for the entire family!

8:50-9:50 AM       Start the church year off right by attending Matins or the Adult Education class. Drop your children off for Church School so that they can grow in the Faith.

10-11:30 AM       Divine Liturgy (NOTE: At the end of Liturgy, the Church School teachers & students, Adult Education teachers & students, and all of the college students will be asked to come forward for a special prayer of blessing.

During the Coffee Hour luncheon, join-in on the following fun activities:

Ministry Fair: Visit the ministry booths to ask questions & learn more about each ministry, pick-up their fall calendar of events, and sign-up to receive their communications. While visiting each booth, personally thank each one for their leadership.

post-Convention Celebration: We will be give thanks to God for His goodness by recounting moments of the 2019 Convention.

After the luncheon, we’ll continue our celebration in a St. Nicholas vs. St. George softball game.

Be on the team! No experience or glove required. Please contact Scott Storey if you are interested in playing.
